HOW CAN I BUY LAND

Freehold land maybe purchased by most foreign nationals provided the property is in the local Belidiye )Local Council.  The Tapu (deeds) Office holds a full list of those countries who have reciprocal agreements regarding property purchase wıth Turkey.  This procedure is ot as complicated as you may imagine, it is usually far simpler than in most European countries.  Foreigners may purchase land under their own names provided the land is not located close to military establishments.  The Title of the land is transferred within a few weeks of the buyer meeting all the necessary legal requirements.

A Lawyer or Solicitor is not needed in Turkey to carry out this procedure.

There is no time limit for buying or re-selling the property and having bought the land can be re-sold the next day, the proceeds of the sale can be transferred out of Turkey.  Please note commission fees maybe incurred depending how you sell.
